Rivers State Police command Parades 4 Suspect In Connection To Rumuolumeni Cult Wars

In a bid to stem the tide of the rising cult activities in the State, Operatives of the Rumuolumeni Police Station on Thursday the 18/4/19 at about 2100hrs, in a sting operation arrested four cultists who have been allege to be terrorizing the area

A statement from the police public relation officer Nnamdi Omoni issued to newsmen on Monday the 22nd of April 2019 said the suspects are said to be the brains behind the incessant cult wars in the area.

Recall that these cultists went from house to house on early hours of Sunday morning the 7th of April 2019 shooting some innocent members of Rumuolumeni residents over yet to be revealed reasons, the incident left 8 persons dead 15 injured with various degrees of gunshot wounds while several others flee from the community for fear of reprisal attack.

The statement revealed that the suspects were arrested with one English made revolver pistol and three live ammunition and have made useful confessions. Meanwhile efforts are on to arrest other members of the gang.  

Omoni said the suspect will be charged to court as soon as Investigation is concluded. The Suspects are: Godstime Rossi Wamaru ‘m’ 20yrs from Ogbakiri in Emohua LGA of R/S

2. Miracle Ogbonna ‘m’ 22yrs from Abia State

3. Raymond Abdullahi Mamode ‘m’ 21yrs from Edo State

 4. Gift Ugbena Douglas’m’ 20yrs from Andoni in R/S.

Omoni warned that The war against armed banditry in the State is on and solicit for the support of well-meaning individuals in the state to rid the state of crime free society ‘’we can only do better with your support.
