Stagnation, Non Payment of Promotion Benefits And Victimization Is A Thing Of The Past: CDFIPB Secretary Alhassan yakmut had said in this special interview with Eastwest Reporters
Issues of worker’s stagnation and ways of correcting the rot in the system topped a case conference between aggrieved members of Immigration’s, Prisons and the CIVIL DEFENCE FIRE SERVICES IMMIGRATION AND PRISON BOARD (CDFIPB) as Public Compliant Commission (PCC) wades in.
Speaking to our correspondent shortly after the mediation process by Public Complaints Commission (PCC) office in Abuja in company of the CDFIPB Legal team, principal Officers and the Board secretary AlHassan Saleh Yakmut said the board will comply with all the submission and the ruling by the Public Complaints Commission. He said ‘’we have already started reforms at our own level to make sure that records are properly kept and grievances are equally addressed with sincerity and honesty’’
‘’so I guess in the near future there will be very few of these cases here at PCC because we would be able to handle it at own domain.
He advised aggrieved staff and officers of the CDFIPB to feel free to approach the board to register complaints ‘’like I said earlier we are going to ensure that there are limited cases that are treated outside the board, so the board will make sure that it treat cases expeditiously and also according to the provisions of the law just as we have been doing. ‘’but these cases that are long pending before the coming of this new board which I am part of, just like we presented before the honorable Chief Commissioner Chile Igbawua, we shall also respond to the cases that they have asked us to do, especially the references and the details to be submitted in the next ten days.
