Massive Turnout As Police Recruitment Exercise Into The Force Continues Today Nation Wide

The current police Recruitment exercise in the State, which began on Monday, 1/7/19 at the Alfred Diete Spiff Sports Complex (Civic Centre) has so far recorded a tremendous success, as attested to by the Applicants     and Representatives from the 23 LGAs of the State.

 The police public relations officer DSP Nnamdi Omoni in a statement issued yesterday said the exercise is expected to continue today the statement reads ‘’Sequel to the directives of the FGN, to recruit 10,000 qualified persons into the Nigeria Police Force, the Command kick started the process, joining other States to conduct the exercise, which will last for upwards of three weeks.

 He said ‘’Here in the State, so far the following LGAs have been screened and still undergoing, as at the time of this Release.

They are:

1. Abua/Odual

2.Ahoada East

3.Ahoada West

4.Akuku Toru


6.Asari Toru




The Screening, which no doubt, is a national assignment is headed by CP Ekpeji Ede Ayuba, leading six other senior Officers, of the Police component and Mr. Mathias Okoi Uyouyo, leading eight others from the Police Service Commission, including 23 LGA Representatives and a member from the Federal Character Commission.

 Nnamdi Omoni said that ‘’Reports from the Centre reveal that the Exercise is transparent and seamlessly organized, with adequate security in place and that the exercise continues on Monday 8/7/19, venue and Time remain the same.

 He however appeals that Applicants should take the exercise seriously and attend as and when due, while wishing them the best of luck.
