The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Force Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID)ABUJA who is also the Supervising DIG, SOUTH SOUTH ZONE, DIG A.M Ogbizi, fdc, was in the Command to monitor the ongoing Recruitment exercise in the State.
A statement issued by River state police public relation officer DSP Nnamdi Omoni said The DIG was accompanied in the visit by the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 6 Headquarters, Calabar, AIG Musa Kimo, psc.
The statement said The team on arrival was received by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Mustapha Dandaura who joined them to the venue of the Exercise.
At the venue they were received by the CP Recruitment, CP Ede Ayuba and the leader of the team from the Police Service Commission, Mr. Mathias Okoi.
The DIG who was impressed with the turnout, lauded the Federal Government for the approval to recruit 10 000 persons into the Force.
He interacted with the Applicants and members of the Screening Committee and charged them to be transparent and ensure that the process is credible.
Omoni said ‘’the team has since left the Command to Delta State in continuation of his tour of the South South Zone.
