The governorship candidate of African Action Congress AAC in the March 9th Governorship election, BIOKPOMABO AWARA has closed his case at the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
BIOKPOMABO AWARA had presented 20 witnesses including himself during the tribunal proceedings.
BIOKPOMABO AWARA during his cross examination at the tribunal presented election results of 11 local government areas in Rivers State.
He claimed that the results were the true certified copies for the governorship election in Rivers State.
Correspondent UGOCHUKWU IWUCHUKWU reports that the second petitioner in the matter, the African Action Congress AAC will open its case tomorrow.
In the meantime, EMENIKE EBETE, lawyer to Biokpomabo Awara at the tribunal said they have proven their case to the best of their ability at the tribunal.
The lawyer to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, WOYIKE LIVINGSTONE said the commission will abide by any decision of the court.
DIKE UDENNA, the co-lawyer of Governor NYESOM WIKE also speak more on the outcome at the tribunal.
