Nigerian ARMY Set For The 4th Edition Of ”EGWU EKE” In The South East As Well As ”CROCODILE SMILE” In The South South/West

The Nigerian Army says it is set to begin the fourth edition of Exercise Egwu Eke, otherwise known as Python Dance, in the South-East states, as well as Crocodile Smile in the South-West and South-South states.

The acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa,in a statement made available to newsmen said the Operation Identification  was launched last week in the North-East  and would soon be extended nationwide to “check out for bandits, kidnappers, armed robbers, ethnic militia, cattle rustlers as well as other sundry crimes across the various regions of Nigeria

The statement also said that Exercise Ayem Akpatuma’s second edition would also begin, to take care of the North-Central and part of North-Western states, noting that the exercises would be launched simultaneously as part of efforts to tackle the “insecurity across the nation.”
