Rivers State Indigenous Peace Advocate Appeals To Governor Nyesom Wike To Appoint SA On Civil Society Matters

A peace advocate group, the Rivers State Indigenous Peace Advocates has commended Civil Society Organizations, Journalists and Media Houses in Rivers State championing the call for justice for Late Chima Ikwunado and the Ikoku Four.

Leader of the Rivers State Indigenous Peace Advocate Bright Abali told our correspondent that this is the first time in the state that the media played their role without been bias, fair and professional in the discharge of their duty.

BRIGHT ABALI also appealed to the Rivers STATE Governor & government of Rivers State to see the need to incorporate the Civil Society Organizations in the state into government programs to create room for a healthy and just society.

He said ‘’ if the Governor appoints SA on Civil Society Matters it will help to Bolster the relationship between the civil societies and Government’’
