Meanwhile father to late Chima, Kelvin Ikwunado has hinted that right from the moment he heard about his son’s incarceration by men of the E-Crack unit of Mile one police division the officers in charge of the case were hostile to the family.
PA Kelvin Ikwunado told our correspondent that all the police officers involved in the case of his late son denied them access to see him while their custody.
He said I soon as I saw the IPO and told him Chima is son He started shouting comot here, Chima is a criminal. I told him my son is not a criminal but a mechanic he said I should get out here even Chima’s Uncle that escorted me there tried to intervene he told him to get out or else he would shoot us. And whenever we go to give Chima food, they will collect one thousand from us, but to show us chima, they refused. We kept on insisting for them to show us Chima they continued to threaten us but will collect the daily one thousand from us
He said I won’t take it rightly with the police, they know what to do, they have killed the only bread winner we have in the family, police and government knows what to do
