Rivers State Government Bans Trailers/Tankers From Using Flyovers & Bridges

The Rivers state government has banned tankers and trailers from using the flyovers and bridges in the state.

The state Commissioner of Transport Soni Ejekwu in a meeting with the trailer and tankers drivers gave the union one week from the 5th of February 2020 to Remove their trucks/trailers that parked along the road to Remove them to ease traffic flow.

The transport Commissioner say any breakdown of trucks/trailers along the road should be repaired within one or two hours.

He said there will be penalties for anyone that contravenes beyond the stated time and also urge trailers and tankers drivers to look for park where they can operate from and park there.
