Lack Of Witnesses In Court Stalls Trial Of Late Human Rights Lawyer Ken Atsuete Murdered In 2016

Trial into the murder of a human right lawyer KEN ATSUETE was stalled today after the lawyer to the third and fourth defendants did not show up when the case was called-up.

KEN ATSUETE was murdered in his residence in Aluu in August, 2016.

Four persons are currently standing trial for the murder of the late human right lawyer.

SAM DAKARE, the lead lawyer prosecuting the trial for KEN ATSUETE said the four persons are standing trial on murder, kidnapping and conspiracy.

Correspondent UGOCHUKWU IWUCHUKWU reports that the matter was adjourned to Thursday 27th February 2020 for continuation of trial.
