IKOKWU Spare Parts Dealer, Traders Embark On Seat At Home Protest Today Demanding For Justice For Ikokwu4, 29 & Late Chima Ikwunado

The Ikokwu trader’s Association has asked its members to shut down tomorrow in protest to the alleged refusal by the police to release the autopsy result of late Chima Ikwunado.

The Chairman of Ikokwu traders associate said they decided to shut down their business to press home their demand to release the corpse of Chima Ikwunado and also strike out the case and prosecution of Ikokwu 29 whom the police arraigned on trump up charges from the court.

He said its only when we protest that government hears us, if we come out to the street they will arrest our boys and tagged them criminals so we are seating at home and we would not come out. All we are asking for is for the government to intervene and tell the police to release the corpse of Chima and the Autopsy and also release are boys who are forced to go to court processes and proceedings for crime they didn’t commit.

The Chairman of Ikokwu traders associate Anthony Iwu Alaribeole also confirmed to correspondent that the family spent over 200k to hire a pathologist but was denied access to the result or body of late Chima Ikwunado.

He called on Rivers state governors to intervene in the matter as he has and always done.  They are also calling on the house of assembly, the house of representative, the Attorney general of the State and the IGP to also press on the police to do the needful
