Civil Rights Council Condemns Calls By Some Private Schools Directive To Their Students To Put On Mufti To School In Flagrant Disrespect By Rivers State Govt For Schools To Shutdown

The Civil Rights Council Has Condemns Directive by Some Private Schools to Pupils and Students to Put On Mufti to School in Flagrant Disregard to Rivers State Government Directive That All Schools Should Close from Effect On Monday 23,2020.

A statement jointly Signed by state Chairman of Civil Rights Council, Rivers State Prince Wiro and Secretary Uzoma Kelechi Condemns the directive by some private school to students and pupils of schools to put on mufti to school from Monday in order to beat checks by monitoring team set up by Rivers State Government to monitor compliance.

The Council has been inundated with calls from parents on the directive by private schools to students to be coming to school from Monday,23,2020 with Mufti.

Civil Rights Council calls on Private school  Proprietor and Proprietress to comply with directive of State Government in the overall Safety of  the Students and Pupils and promise to closely monitor compliance by Schools this morning.
