Based on credible intelligence Chairman of Obi/Akpor LGA stormed the school Mission Education Centre at Rumumasi on Wednesday morning and caught the School Flouting Government directive by asking students to come to school with Mufti owned by Assemblies of God Church

Recall that on Monday the Civil Rights Council Had raised alarm over parents complaining that some schools had asked them to send in their children to school on mufti as a disguise to continue teaching despite the state government directives that all schools should close on Monday 23rd March 2020 as part of measures to curtail the spread of corona virus pandemic

The mission school Rumuomasi had twisted parents to send in their wards to school on Mufti, trusting that they could continue to seal their disobedience until luck ran out on them on Wednesday 25th March 2020.

They were still open to academic activities despite directive that all schools should shut down.  The pupils were still learning as at the time the taskforce stormed on them at early hours.

The parents of the children was later called to come pick their children while the school management staff and some Teachers have been handed over to Police according to the Council Chairman Solomon Eke for prosecution.
