Hoodlums this morning have invaded the Woji Estate police destroying houses belonging to police officers after the news of a keke driver identified as PraiseGod John died in a scuffle with a vulcanizer that Police called to pump his tyres.
The deceased was arrested on Friday night and his keke seized by Estate Police station at Woji town in Obi/Akpor.

Cousin to the deceased Godbless Monday told our correspondent that he was called on phone yesterday night that his brother has died in the Police station but was not told what led to his death. He said his brother had told him that he was arrested for running late in the night and when he got bail on Saturday, the police called a vulcanizer to pump his tyres but charged high and he refused to pay him which resulted in a physical fight with the vulcanizer then the police re-detained him again for fighting the vulcanzier until they received the news of his death.
The police public relation officer of the rivers state police command NNAMDI OMONI has confirmed the incident and appeals for calm.
He said the police has ordered for a full investigation into what led to the death of the Keke Driver.
