Matching Ground Supremacy Collection Mounts Tension Over Killing Of Suspected Iceland Cult Member By Rivals In Mile3 Diobu

There is palpable tension in Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt over the Killing of one Chisco Uzoma, suspected Iceland cult by suspected Deygbam cult members at Ekwe street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt yesterday April 27,2020.

We gathered that the members of the two cult groups engaged themselves in a supremacy battle over collection of ‘marching ground’ fee from an illegal market operated at Ekwe, National, Ikom, streets Mile 3 Diobu, after the closure of markets by Rivers State Government to control the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

We also gathered that the Deygbam cult group stormed the market and insisted that they should be allowed to collect for that yesterday since the Iceland members have been collecting.

We learned the Iceland members refused on the ground that it is not the territory of the Deygbam men.

The source say an argument  along the heated who is who resulted to a shoot-out that led to the death of Chisco Uzoma.

Our correspondent who visited the scene yesterday saw Police patrol vans stationed at the place.

The Vigilante Chairman of Rumu-Elechi community, Godstime Ihunwo confirmed the incident to our reporter.

The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, Nnamdi Omoni is yet to speak officially on the matter but has been informed of the matter.
