Security guards at the Port Harcourt Cemetery have expressed fears that hoodlums might still come to the cemetery to truly exhume the body of the late Asari-toru Local Government Chairman Odieari Princewill who was buried at the port Harcourt cemetery on Thursday 28th May 2020
The late chairman of Asari-toru local government Chief Odieari Princewill was allegedly buried according to WHO/NCDC standard on burial of covid19 victims.
The secretary of the Port Harcourt cemetery, Tammy Tamunotonye-John is appealing to the security agent to beef up security presence around the cemetery.
Tammy Tamunotonye-John said the security men at the cemetery are afraid that the hoodlums can make their threats real by coming to exhume the body of the late Asalga Boss.
He said ”news making the rounds that the body of the late Chairman of Asari Toru LGA had been exhumed and taken to an unknown place for now is fake because he led a team of all the workers at the cemetery and no one reported any incident of breaking and entry but they are afraid that since the news is out, there is no smoke without fire as such the hoodlums could eventually carry out their threats. He said though they have their own security at the cemetery, they neither carry gun nor machetes and as such needs serious protections to protect them from unforeseen circumstances.
