Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State unveiled Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) produced at the state owned garment factory.
Gov. Ayade said the protective gears, which included face shields and overalls would be deployed to schools free for use by students as the state government planned trial resumption of public schools.
He went further to state that the PPE will also serve as commercial purposes if need be, like selling out to other states who are interested which will thereby increase the Cross River state IGR and creating job opportunities for the citizens.
