River State Police Command Parades 7 Suspects In Connection To Child Trafficking Syndicate at Igwuruta, Ikwerre LGA

The Rivers state police command has paraded 7 suspect arrested in connection to selling a day old baby.
Parading the suspect at the command headquarters the police Public relations officer Nnamdi Omoni said the suspect were caught following a tip off from the brother of the mother of the day old baby.He said the suspect from investigation Runs a baby factory located at Eneka and would be prosecuted according to the relevant laws of the state

RIVERS POLICE ABORTS THE SALE OF A DAY OLD BABY:
Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in a covert operation at the early hours of today 11/8/2030 cracked a Child Trafficking Syndicate at Igwuruta, Ikwerre LGA,where one Florence Jonah, a 56 year old woman was arrested. She is alleged to have conspired with the father of the child, one Izuchukwu Success to sell him to waiting buyers at cost of Nine Hundred Thousand Naira (900,000)
2. Upon his arrest, the father led the Police to Better life Clinic, Eneka, where the child who had been sold, was eventually recovered and handed over to his real mother, Rejoice Izuchukwu. Both mother and child are in stable condition.
3. The suspects arrested are:
i) Florence Jonah ‘f’ 56yrs
ii) Ogum Ifeoma ‘f’ 22yrs
iii) Beauty Nnodim ‘f’ 25yrs
iv) Isabella Chika ‘f’ 20yrs
v) Blessing Udoh ‘f’ 20yrs
They are helping us in our Investigation and will be charged to Court as soon as Investigation is over.
