The Rivers state police command is appealing for calm over the murder of an ogu man identified as opuada Godknows who who shot to death by an unknown gunmen who allegedly trailed him from ogu before shooting him at Eteoo community.
The police public relations officer Nnamdi Omoni said though no one has been arrested in connection to the crime but police has lunched a man hunt for killers of the Godknows Opuada who was shot on his from site inspection back to port Harcourt.
He urged the communities not to embark on self help promising that police will unravel those behind the heinous crimes
Some stakeholder have condemned the murder of the middle age man from Ogu identified as opuada Godknows.
The CDC of Ogu community Omieibi Davies said ogu community is not happy over the repeated incident of Abductions, Harassment, maiming and killing of Ogu citizens along Eteoo. 
On his part the councilor representing ward six Eteo in Eleme legislative Assembly Peter Chutte called for the deployment of security agencies to the area to forestall a reprisal attacks from hoodlums
