Day Light Assassination Soaring In Rivers State: Multinationals Oil Companies Warns Staff To Stay Away From Banks & All Cash Transactions

Port Harcourt City LGA:

Thur 17 Dec 2020, at about 1545hrs, at Evo road, New GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt City LGA, one Levi Nwabuko was shot dead by armed men, who trailed him from a bank where he had gone to withdraw money. The deceased was intercepted and shot inside his black color KIA Optima car with Abuja registration number KUJ 713AR, which was abandoned alongside the money and the deceased friend who sustained gunshot injuries.

Port Harcourt City LGA :

Thur 17 Dec 2020, at about 0951hrs, along George Sekibo road, off Samsung Roundabout, Peter Odili road, Port Harcourt City LGA, a gang of unidentified armed men intercepted one Eloma Member, and shot him dead. The deceased was trailed from a First Bank along Trans-Amadi road, where he had gone to withdraw money. The hoodlums made away with an undisclosed sum of money which he withdrew from the bank while his car was abandoned.

Port Harcourt City LGA:

Thur 17 Dec 2020, at about 1000hrs, at Amadi Roundabout by Peter Odili Road, Port Harcourt City LGA, a gang of Iceland members operating on keke attacked and shot dead, one notorious Greenland cult member aka Ejima. Thereafter, at about 2200hrs, same day and same venue, Greenlanders cult members regrouped and shot dead one Iceland member aka Shoky.

Oyigbo LGA:

Thur 17 Dec at 2020, about 2000hrs along Oyigbo axis of Port Harcourt – Aba Express way, one Eruba Enyinna, a contract staff of SPDC and his friend were abducted on the way from his village, Akwete, Abia State. Both victims were stopped by a gang of five (5) armed men who dressed in black and were on foot, pretending as if they were conducting stop and search security operation. After stopping the vehicle, the victims were pulled out and ordered into the bush and are still being held by the abductors, who are now demanding N100m ransom.

 

Therefore, staff are advised to always be vigilant and continue to exercise utmost personal security consciousness in their movements.
