Governor Nyesom Wike Hints Of New Year Lockdown To Curb The Spread Of 2nd Wave Of Covid19

The Rivers State Government is set to roll out new regulations to curb the spread of Covid in the state from the beginning of the new year 2021.

This disclosure was made by Governor Wike during the Thanksgiving/ 90th birthday celebration of Mrs Priscilla Nwanediye Queen Mark, mother of Barr Eddy Mark at St Martin’s Anglican Church Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area.

The Governor who announced a donation of N50 million for the completion of the church’s building project expressed his delight at the celebrant attaining 90 years and prayed for health and more years for her.

Governor Wike also urged leaders of the LGA to reconcile their differences and unite for the progress of the LGA.

The 90th birthday/thanksgiving of Mrs Priscilla Nwanediye Queen Mark had in attendance His Excellency Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency Celestine Omehia, Former Governor of Rivers State among other dignitaries from within and outside the state.
