by adminreporter

The murder trial of the late Ikokwu Mechanic Chima Ikwunado continued today with the second witness IFEANYI OSUJI tendering his picture to the court as evidence of his torture. IFEANYI OSUJI insisted that the first defendant IFEANYI AYOGU injured him with Matchet during the interrogation.

However, the lawyers of the dismissed police officers objected the picture evidence but the trial Judge Justice.F.A.FIBERESIMA admitted the picture as exhibit in the case. He also said that the Police charged four of them to court after torturing them at the Police cell.

IFEANYI OSUJI said they were taken to prison after their court appearance. Our Correspondent reports that the court also adjourned the matter to the 29th and 30th of March, 2021 for continuation of hearing.
