Abuja High Court Set May 27th 2021 To Deliver Judgement In Suit Against The FG Instituted By Ex-Niger Delta Militants Excluded From Monthly Stipends Of The Amnesty Programme

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will on the 27th of May deliver ruling on issue of joinder in a matter instituted by group of beneficiaries of Federal Government Amnesty Programme against Federal Government Amnesty Office and Special Adviser to the President MUHAMMADU BUHARI on Amnesty Programme Retired Col MILLAND DIXION DIKIO.

The group who are members of a particular camp of the Ex-Niger Delta Militants had approached the court to order the Federal Government Amnesty and Special Adviser to the President on Amnesty Programme to pay the beneficiaries the stipulated sixty-five thousand Naira monthly stipend.

The group also want the court to compel the Amnesty office to ensure all their entitlement including their training are adequately perfected.

But another set of group of beneficiaries applied to join in the matter which was objected by the first set of plaintiffs.

Presiding Judge, Justice A MUHAMMAD after hearing argument from the parties adjourned till 27th of May for ruling.
