A fascinating development that restores hope in political leadership in Anambra, the state that prides itself as “Light of the Nation.” Obiano’s credit is that he had the audacity to build a truly international airport without cutting corners whatsoever! Everything about this airport from its runway to its control tower to its top-notch navigational equipment and ILS for night landing was painstakingly pursued to be the very best! Obiano did it the way Americans would have built an international airport in their own country. Diligently make it a high-quality, standard masterpiece, instead of building a mushroom project just to answer the name that he is amongst the governors that built an airport!
Although The governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and his wife, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano were at the airport on Saturday, April 17, 2021 on inspection

Okija, Anambra-born businessman Dr. Ernest Obiejesi (Obijackson) was also at the airport and landed in the brand new airport tarmac in his helicopter.
Ndi Anambra, the airport project is real!
