5 Years Of Unpaid Salaries: Again Teachers Of Demonstration Secondary School Protest Governor Nyesom Wike Refusal To Obey Court Judgement

Teachers of Demonstration Secondary Schools  Yesterday occupied the entrance of the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The teachers are protesting five years of unpaid Salaries. The Teachers, family members and former students of  the Institution says they were over 2500 Unpaid Teachers in collaboration with Civil Society Organization joined the aggrieved teachers to block the entrance of the Government House in protest.
The leader of the protesters, GOLDEN SPIFF appeal to the Governor to end their fives years suffering of the teacher by paying their salaries.
Some of the teachers were captured on video crying and pleading with  the state government to pay their salaries as the Governor drove past the protester but did not addressed them.
Recall the protesting teachers won the State Government in court and the Court ordered that the government should pay them: an order the government is yet to obey.Some of the teachers who spoke to journalists also  want Governor NYESOM WIKE led administration to obey court orders that have directed the government to pay the teachers their five years unpaid salaries.

However the Chairman of the Civil Society Organization in Rivers State, ENEFA GEORGEWILL said they are surprised that the governor who is a product of court judgment is delaying in obeying the court, saying that they will remain at the gate until the right thing is done to the owed teachers.
