We are building 9 flyovers within two years of our 2nd tenure but we wouldn’t stop there.
We would build a 10th Flyover by Tank junction at Rumuokwurusi.
Today we were at St, Paul’s Cathedral, Diobu, to thank God as we marked the 2nd year of my 2nd tenure in office as the Governor of Rivers State.
While speaking at the Thanks Giving I made it clear that it is very important for us to remember where we are coming from. When I look back at all we have achieved, i marvel and can’t help but conclude It is God almighty that made it possible for me and my team to achieve all we have done.
But for God all we have done wouldn’t have been possible. We had every reason to fail, we went through a lot of trials but In our trials the obvious hand of God was with us and made it possible for us not to give excuses but produce results.
HERE ARE A FEW COMMENTS FROM RESIDENTS
Ate LLOYD Says – This is another welcome development. WIKE please do consider CHOBA UNIPORT junction. A good pedestrian bridge will go a long way to ameliorate the stress and risks that students and other commuters face in the now very busy junction. God bless our Governor
Akachuku Nnaji- I support this one fully. That tank axis has become center for traffic congestion for years. The flyover will ease movement there.
Soromtochukwu Oniyba- I support this one with my full chest. Carry on sir, If you know tank, you’ll support with money, cement rod stones
Ubog Micheal- I am not a Rivers state indigene, but have lived in Rivers state for a while now, and I know this place in question. I must confess Rumuokurusi by Tank Junction desperately needs a flyover. The traffic jam at the junction on a daily basis can only be experienced than imagined. It’s going to be a welcome development.
