The Pastor Rev.Samuel Umuoparadim who was detained by the Rumuokoro Police station on Wednesday afternoon that his preaching is constituting nuisance following report made against him by his fellow Pastors has been released free of charge without paying one naira.

Human Rights group Center For Basic Rights Ans Accountability Campaign who secured his release had contacted the Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command on the matter.
Rev Samuel Umuoparadim told me that crisis started brewing when his fellow preachers/Pastors that preach in buses at the Rumuodomaya park after slaughter going to Owerri from Port Harcourt sought him to fill a membership form to belong to the Union which He refused .So they ganged up against him and reported him to the Police that his preaching is constituting nuisance .
