Motorist, commuters groans as Heavy downpour in Port Harcourt this morning distorted activities for those plying the busy Azikiwe road to Lagos bus stop due the flooded areas.
Some commercial drivers, Bus and taxi Operators were made to take alternative routes which also caused heavy traffic to such routes. commuters were made to trek inside the flooded waters long distance to get to the next available dry land

Rivers State unemployed youths cast their net in the flood water in front of Government House, Some young men taking advantage of the flood along Azikiwe Road fishing. This is the second time this year the popular SPAR MALL WILL BE FLOODED and calls for government to desilt and unclog the already filled drains according to residents is the sure way to let out the water and ensure that water channels are also opened.

Other Residents says  if the Government Create a new city outside Obio /Akpor & Phalga It will reduce the Load on vehicular movement  in such area  causing drainage  blockade to allow free water flows
