Members of the OSPAC in Ibaa Community have been accused of being behind the accident that claimed the life of one Ndidi Mgboma, of Omkpova in Ibaa community, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A Survivor of the accident which happened at the Rumuodogo axis of the East-West road on Friday, the 19th of October, who spoke after he was discharged from the hospital said OSPAC of Ibaa was behind the accident.
The survivor who preferred anonymity, said that the OSPAC members from Ibaa led by their Chairman and the Commander had laid ambush for Ndidi, his friend Chijioke and others and at sight chased them to the East-West road.
He said Ndidi who was driving the vehicle ran into another vehicle while trying to escape from the chase of the fully armed OSPAC men.
He noted that while he tried to save the victims that same OSPAC pounced on him trying to kill him before men of the Nigeria Police from Rumuji Divisional Headquarters intervened.
He called on the Governor of Rivers State, the Commissioner of Police in the state and other relevant agencies to investigate the activities of the vigilante group, adding that they are involved in killing people secretly.
