Port Harcourt High court has reminded Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democrats party , PDP , Farah Dagogo to correctional center despite been granted bail by the Federal High court in the state on Thursday 12th May 2022 and his bail condition perfected by his team.
Our correspondent who was in court report that Farah Dagogo was seen carried by four police officers into the courtroom in unconscious state and was carried out with a stretcher into a police ambulance after been reminded to the correctional center, while journalists were barred from entering the proceedings. some journalist who insisted that the court is a public place where manhandled sent away while all court entrance gates where put under lock and key with stern warnings not to allow in and out movement gate,
Our correspondent also report that she was push away with a gun butt by trigger happy policeman as they tried to smuggle in Farah Dagogo who was brought to the high court today though he was due to appear at the high court presided over by Justice Chinwendu Nworgu but could not take his plea when his case was called up for mentioned due to his health condition.
The Presiding Judge Justice Chinwendu Nworgu remanded him in prison custody and adjourned the matter to 16th of May 2022.
Speaking to Journalist outside the courtroom, the prosecution Counsel , CHIDI EKEH, explained that the Federal high court do not have right to trial a case against the state, stating that the state is not aware of the bail granted to Farah at the federal high court
Meanwhile, the Personal Physician of Lawmaker Farah Dagogo, Doctor Kenneth Dawariboko has described his state of health as very critical .
Dr Dawariboko in an interview with Senior correspondent Anita Ogona said he has been his personal physician since 2013 and he has never seen him or been This ill as he was when brought to court on Friday
He noted that he was allowed to see him but was not part of the team of doctors treating him adding that the suspect had requested for his personal doctor to treat him but they continued treating him even when he demanded sick better healthcare to treat himself which he said was wrong and against the law. he said all suspects are innocent until proven otherwise in a court of competent jurisdiction
