Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) Worldwide, has stirred fresh political debate with a new prophecy about Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
In a video message shared on social media, the cleric said: “APC’s preferred candidate will lose, PDP won’t win, so ADC will win.”
According to Ayodele, the two dominant parties, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will both struggle in the next election cycle. He predicted that the ruling APC would face rejection at the polls, while the PDP would be unable to capitalize on the situation. Instead, he declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would emerge victorious.
Ayodele stressed that Nigeria’s political landscape was heading for an unexpected realignment. He warned that if the APC relies on its current strategies and “preferred candidate,” the party would experience a major upset. Similarly, he suggested that the PDP lacked the capacity to seize power.
“The handwriting is on the wall. Nigerians are tired, and they want something different,” he said.
The prophecy comes at a time when parties are already strategizing ahead of 2027. While the APC currently controls the presidency, and the PDP remains its strongest challenger, the ADC has historically been a minor player in national politics. Ayodele’s prediction, however, points to a possible upset that could change the balance of power.
Political analysts note that prophecies such as this reflect public dissatisfaction with the status quo, though it remains to be seen how much influence smaller parties like the ADC can truly exert in a national contest dominated by giants
