70 Years Old Grandpa Deported To Nigeria After 50 Years US

An elderly Nigerian man in his seventies has reportedly been deported from the United States after spending 50 years in the country.
The story was shared by his granddaughter on TikTok, where she described the situation as devastating for the family. According to her, the man, identified as Joe, left Nigeria as a teenager and moved to the United States at the age of 19. He had lived there for five decades and had not returned to Nigeria ever since.

In her post, she revealed that her grandfather was recently deported to Nigeria despite having no home or close family members there. She explained that most of his relatives are based in the United States and that he lacks a support system back in his home country.

“This morning, I woke up to the saddest news I could ever receive. My grandfather, who has been in the United States for nearly five decades and no longer has a place to live in Nigeria, has been deported,” she wrote.

She added that the news has been difficult for the family to process, especially because he may not be able to return to the US. “All his family is here. He has no place to live back home. To wake up to the news that he can never return has been truly heartbreaking,” she said.

In the comment section, the granddaughter provided more details, stating that her grandfather is around 70 years old and that everything happened very quickly, with little communication. She also claimed that he was deported without proper documentation or prior contact with the family.

“Everything is happening so fast; we still haven’t heard from him,” she added, appealing for help and support.
