Nigerian singer, Davido, has urged his uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to halt plans to help a viral physically challenged hawker that made headlines a few days ago.
Eniola, who hails from Osun State, became an internet sensation after Nigerian skitmaker, Brain Jotter, spotted ‘her’ hawking bottled water in Lagos traffic while on his way for a video shot.
During a conversation with Brain Jotter, the lady opened up about being a makeup artist and shared her business Instagram page for verification.
After the chat, the skitmaker transferred the sum of N400,000 to Eniola for her to set up her makeup business and stop hawking.
He also uploaded their conversation on social media alongside Eniola’s bank account details for anyone willing to assist her, and it got the attention of many Nigerians, including Davido, as he called his uncle’s attention to the trending video.
Reacting to the video via X, Adeleke showered praises on Eniola, stating she embodies the qualities that represent Osun State.
The Governor said there are plans to contact Eniola and explore possibilities to advance her education or improve her makeup skills.
However, in a post via Instagram barely 24 hours after he gave the physically challenged individual financial help, the Brain Jotter revealed that the man lied about being female, adding he had received over six hundred thousand Naira from people.
He wrote, “If I tell you say I no tire I dey lie, Just Negodu, Bro deceived us all. Some people has helped him with over 600k before. He lied!!! He is a man.”
Reacting via X, Davido told Governor Adeleke to abort plans of helping the hawker.
