Anambra Joint Security Forces Kills Gang Of 4 Kidnappers Along Nkpor-Umuoji-Ideani Road

Following the mandate and declaration by Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, to rid Anambra State of all criminal elements, the Anambra State Security Forces on Sunday the 7th of May, 2023 effectively neutralized a deadly gang of kidnappers terrorizing innocent citizens along the Nkpor-Umuoji-Ideani road

The gang of Kidnappers who had hitherto terrorized innocent citizens along that axis paid dearly with their lives when Security Forces acting on intelligence report swooped on the areas and after an intense gun battle effectively dispatched four of the deadly criminals to the great beyond and also made some arrests.

It will be recalled that Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has repeatedly warned that there is no space for any criminalities in Anambra State. Hence zero tolerance has been declared by the Governor on any form of criminal activities in the state.

It will also be recalled that the Governor on assumption of office within a short period of time successfully reduced kidnapping and other criminalities in the State to the barest minimum.

Based on this success, Governor Soludo has received continuous commendations from Ndi Anambra for reclaiming the State from the firm grip of deadly criminals who have now turned criminalities into a profitable enterprise

Meanwhile those arrested are currently cooling off in detention. They are helping the Security Agencies in their investigation to unravel the whereabout of other kidnappers who are on the run.

After successfully neutralizing the kidnappers, the Security Operatives recovered a Lexus Jeep and some sophisticated weapons including charms tied around their waists.

Anambra Vigilante Group in collaboration with the Police, following the charge from Governor Soludo, have also warned that criminals operating in those axis of Nkpor-Umuoji-Ideani should desist henceforth or be ready to meet their waterloo from the Security forces who have taken over the axis to protect and safeguard the citizens
