Baby Mama Saga: Ayo Gives Date In 2013, She Slept With Davido, Says He Sent Money For Anu’s Naming

Fresh controversy has surfaced in the ongoing DNA dispute involving music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh. The situation took another turn on Tuesday, January 20, when Labinjoh returned to social media to address claims surrounding her daughter, Anu.

In her post, Ayo reacted to comments suggesting that she was trying to force her child on the singer because of his wealth. She dismissed the claims, stating that she knew Davido long before his rise to fame, saying she met him as an upcoming artiste in 2013.

As part of her response, she brought Davido’s first daughter, Imade, into the discussion. She referred to Imade as the singer’s second child and recalled the past controversy surrounding her paternity. While explaining her position, she said,
“Even Uncle @delemomoduovation, who is close to the Adelekes and even an uncle to Anu’s half-sister, Imade, the second child, who also fought a DNA battle, has chosen not to intervene.”

She further questioned the singer directly over past events, writing, “David, YOU and I are the only ones who know who I slept with in February 2013. Have you told the world you sent me money on the day of the naming ceremony, in November 2013?”

Ayo also used strong words to criticise the singer’s attitude, adding, “You are a boy, not a man. You are a dad, not a father.”

In another post, she shared what she described as the alleged DNA timelines of Davido’s children. She wrote, “Anu Adeleke September 2014, Imade Adeleke June 2015, Hailey Adeleke May 2017, Dawson Adeleke June 2021, Ivanna Bay, June 2023, in utero — #Terminated.”

Hours after Imade was described as his second child, Davido appeared to respond without words. He shared a photo of himself and Imade on his social media page, which many interpreted as a silent declaration of her status as his first child.

Meanwhile, reactions continued to trail the online exchange. Some social media users questioned the claims, while others defended the singer. One comment read, “My own be say,are you sure that David is the father of your child?”

Another said, “Oky we agreed she’s his daughter and what next? Because David will not treat her as his own still.”

Others shared opposing views, with one person writing, “Anu Adeleke Davido’s first child is truly beautiful and Imade looks like her too.”
Another added, “Nor go find your papa dey find adeleke u go Old tire.”

The drama reportedly deepened after Anu herself responded to Davido’s previous comments on the issue. She expressed disappointment over his tone, saying she never expected to be “cursed out and bullied” by someone she was seeking answers from. According to her, the singer also threatened to have her mother arrested while using demeaning language against her publicly.

The dispute continues to draw attention as public interest remains high over the unresolved DNA claims and the growing family drama surrounding the Afrobeats star.
