Bible Society of Nigeria Commends Financial/Membership Support Of Christ Army Church

The Bible Society of Nigeria Rivers/Bayelsa Area has commended the continued dedicated financial and membership support of the St Paul’s, (Garrick Braide) World Wide Christ Army Church of Nigeria Cathedral, Bakana at all times.

This commendation was made yesterday by the Chairman of the Area, Elder Omoni Ayo-Tamuno, while speaking at the presentation of Special Member Certificates/Bible Week Sunday at Bakana in Degema Local Government Area.

Elder Ayo-Tamuno said “I have noted with keen interest for the past four years this Cathedral has registered the highest number of Special Member registration in Rivers and Bayelsa States”.

He said, “the Area has also noted the Cathedral as the single Church with the highest financial contribution in Bible Week celebration”

This, the Chairman added “is highly commendable and worthy of emulation by other churches in the Area”.

He specifically pointed out and stated that, “the Archbishop of the Christ Army Church of Nigeria World Wide, the Most Revd Sir (Dr) Ibiba Siri, JP, KSQ, NOMAA, MVAP, EWP has been consistent and faithful in supporting the BSN to achieve it’s objectives and aims, and said if other denominational heads are doing same, the Society will not lack in it’s mandate to meet the spiritual needs of the Church”.

The Chairman appealed to the Clergy and the Laity of the Cathedral to maintain their support to the Society always.

In his speech, the Archbishop, the Most Revd Sir (Dr) Ibiba Siri pledged his continued support to the Society and said “I have to do this to encourage the Area Chairman, Elder Ayo-Tamuno who is discharging his duty with passion and dedication”.

The Most Revd Siri said “every year the Cathedral will enrol members into the Special Membership Category and disclosed six members of the Cathedral will be enrolled as Special Members, this year”.

Among the Special Members inducted are the Revd Canon Igoaso, Victor Omuaru, Madam Ruby Ezekiel Jebewari, Sister Ibienefaa Valentine and Madam Grace Tubotem Iboroma.

The Area Chairman, Elder Omoni Ayo-Tamuno later admitted the members into the highest level of the BSN on behalf of the Life Patron of the Society, General Dr Yakubu Gowon RTD.
