Celebrating 40 Years Of Community Policing: CP Tunji Disu Hails PCRC Effective Partnerships

The PCRC Rivers State Command turned up yesterday, April 17th 2024 in her numbers to celebrate the PCRC at 40.
Highlights of the celebrations include a road walk through some major streets of Port Harcourt with a lot of fanfare, sensitization of the people on the street on the activities and role of the PCRC in curtailing crime and criminality and more.
The road walk terminated at the State Police Headquarters where the group was received by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, and his management team.

While addressing the CP and his men, the state chairman, Voke Emore emphasized that apart from the 40th anniversary celebrations, the PCRC also came to celebrate with the Rivers State Commissioner of Police on his recent award as the Commissioner of Police of the year, at the maiden edition of the Nigeria Police Awards.

Responding to the goodwill messages of the State Chairman, the CP pointed out that the award he went to receive was not just for him, but for the entire Rivers State Police Command.
At the end of the event, one of our main partners, the makers of Indomie noodles served cooked plates of noodles to the officers and men.
