Chaos As Newly Launched Enugu Air Forcefully Remove Passenger From From Flight

Enugu State-owned commercial airline, Enugu Air, which only launched operations on July 7, has found itself in the spotlight after a passenger was forcibly removed from one of its flights.

A viral video circulating on social media shows airline officials dragging a male passenger off the aircraft. In the footage, a voice is heard saying, “Yes, yes, go down,” indicating that some bystanders supported the removal.

The reason for the incident remains unclear, as neither the airline nor the unidentified passenger has issued any statement explaining what transpired.

The clip, which clearly shows the aircraft marked with the Enugu Air logo, captured the chaotic moment the passenger was led away under visible tension.

The development comes amid a wave
Of recent high-profile disputes between passengers and airlines. In July, Comfort Emmanson was discharged in court after a clash with Ibom Air flight attendants on a Uyo-Lagos flight, while Fuji maestro King Wasiu Ayinde (KWAM 1) was reportedly involved in a confrontation with ValueJet Airlines staff at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The incident has sparked online debate, with observers drawing parallels between these cases and raising concerns about the state of passenger-airline relations in Niger’s domestic aviation sector.
