The CPLG EXPOSITION (Centre For Politics Leadership and Governance)Held on the 21st of April, 2023 at Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt was to expose the Centre’s study programs to the public and to encourage people to acquire the accurate and practical knowledge as it concerns politics, leadership, and governance in both the public and private sectors.
Speaking to our correspondent on the sidelines of the Exposition in partnership with HENCH Education The Center Director Kelvin Ogbonaya Maximus said “Our mandate at Centre For Politics, Leadership and Governance (CPLG) is to deliver specialized educational programs and services in politics, leadership, administration and management – moving knowledge from theory to practice for national development and shared economic prosperity”.
He said “our key focus area is getting professionals, entrepreneurs and interested citizens to get fully involved in political participation and leadership contestation for public offices in government.
Through our Partnership with Institute of Political Administration and Management (IPMAN) we offer professional membership certification for public officials, politicians, civil servants and the general public’. He explained that CPLG Study Program Study program is organised in four (4) categories; Basic & Intermediate (3 weeks), Advance (4 weeks), Masterclass (4 weeks) and Executive(4 weeks) to suit the different interest groups and classes of people in the society.
Our programme is centered around politics, leadership, governance, administration, economy and management.
Participants are divided into study groups each headed by a CPLG supervisor. The CPLG supervisors are very seasoned and highly competent academics, technocrats, professionals, politicians and senior retired servicemen.
In addition to the above, we also carry out extensive study tour, knowledge exchange programmes, research and projects, workshops and seminars.” he said
Mr. Kelvin Further Explained That “The CPLG Tour would also take participants across public strategic institution to further expand their knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian State and to prepare them for accountable leadership at different levels of service and responsibility in public office.
