The Rivers State Govt says it has invested massively by partnering with Relevant agencies to Confront any impediment that will hinder children from accessing the statewide free Immunizations project to protect children against Polio and other diseases.
The commissioner for Health Dr Adaeze Chidimma Oreh stated this at the flag off of the National Immunizations plus days at Obio/akpor council secretariat.
Dr Adaeze said the state will do everything within its powers to bridge the 30 % Statistical gap recorded in the last campaign and urge parents, guardians and religious leaders not to listen to any false myth and provide their children between ages zero to 5 years to access the novel Polio plus Immunizations
Also speaking at the sidelines of keep Polio at Zero, the executive Secretary primary health care management Board Dr Kinikanwor Green said the board will continue with sensitization residents and that polio campaigns teams will go from church to church, house to house, nook and cranny of communities to ensure no child is left behind.
