Many Nigerians have been lamenting hardship following the removal of fuel subsidy and the devaluation of the naira after it was floated by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The economic policies of the administration have pushed up the prices of goods drastically and rate of inflation.

The economic hardship in the country have over some time, forced citizens across some states, to protest against some government policies which they say, have forced many households out of food and other means of livelihoods.

Under the National Emergency Management Agency (Establishment) Act as amended, NEMA has been delegated the primary responsibility for coordinating Federal emergency preparedness, planning, management, and disaster assistance functions.

The agency stores food items and other necessities of life in their warehouses across the 36 states and FCT, in preparation for emergency situations
