All is now set for the first movie in Pigin English shot and cast in the beautiful city of Port Harcourt to hit the International market as demands for collaborations soars.
The Epic movie titled ” SLAVE WARRIOR” debuts as first ever complete Pigin English language scaled a new height with the production of over 68 scene to hit Cinema, all channels of movie industry in Nigeria
Speaking at the unveiling of the Slave Warriors held at Hotel Presidential in port harcourt, The Director of the movie, Mr Alex Joseph said Rivers State was chosen because it has the right location to shoot any kind of movie, local and international, and that the ‘slave warrior is showcasing the beautiful culture of the people.
He said “the Epic movie unveiled by Makavilla Production Limited is in a class of its own as the First epic Web series shot in Pigin English, the world’s highest number of scenes on record’
Producer of ‘Slave warrior’ Mr. Justice Onu who is the ‘Chief priest’ in the movie said the success of the movie is an open gate for global production to flood Rivers state which boasts of all shades of scenes and guaranteed safety
The film Producer also revealed that the film has gulped over 500 million naira with over 4,000 scenes full of acts.
Veteran and award winning actor, Segun Arinze is the lead actor in the movie which also has Professor of film University of PortHarcourt, Ovunda Ihunwo, media organiser, Kate Ezeigbo, Gideon Okeke, Tosin Adeyemi and Jude Isichie as others casts.
Segun described the movie as epic, topnotch and an opportunity to tell the story from the Niger Delta State.
Prof of film, Ovunda Ihunwo of the University of PortHarcourt said the movie title ‘Slave Warrior’ is meant to arouse curiosity.

According to the co producer, Blessing Marvel.Executive Officer of Desgol Entertainment Worldwide and organiser of the Rivers Film Festival (RIFF), Kate Ezeigbo during a post production briefing and unveiling of the series in Port Harcourt described the success of the movie as a plus to Rivers State despite the state of emergency situation.
Ezeigbo said that ‘Slave Warrior’ attracted actors from across Nigeria and other countries, highlighting the region’s hospitality, safety and culture.
‘SLAVE WARRIOR’ is certainly a must watch for everyone as it boast of Intense leadership lessons, conflict resolution embedded with culture and history are some didactics of the film.
