According to our report, Martin Amaewhule, leader of a faction in the Rivers State House of Assembly, has accused Governor Siminalayi Fubara of deliberately obstructing the legislature and using the courts to control political movement.
Speaking on SYMFONI, Amaewhule claimed that Fubara has consistently refused to cooperate with the Assembly, describing a pattern of interference that goes beyond policy disputes. Despite the pressure, Amaewhule insists lawmakers remain committed to their constitutional duties, warning that the public has yet to see the full scope of the challenges imposed by the executive.
