Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday vowed that Iran would pay a heavy price after missiles struck Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva and targeted civilians in central Israel.
The attack occurred in the early hours of the morning and was immediately blamed on Iran’s terror proxies
Full details of the impact, including casualties or the extent of damage, have not been confirmed.
“This morning, Iran’s terror proxies launched missiles toward Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva and at the civilian population in central Israel.
“We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran,” Netanyahu said in a post on X.
Israeli officials previously said at least 24 people had died from Iranian attacks. On Tuesday night, however, only 10 missiles were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome system, suggesting a significant decrease in Iranian firepower.
Tensions flared into open warfare days ago, after Israel launched “preemptive strikes” on Iran. Since then, both Israel and Iran have launched strikes that have killed scores and disrupted regional stability.
