The venue remains the NUJ Main Hall along Moscow Road; and the time remains 5pm though it will go on air by 7pm to 9pm.
The NUJ in the state together with our partners are also glad to announce that six out of the seven Governorship candidates have signified their intentions to be present for the debate and we want to use the opportunity to reach out to the over three million registered voters in the state especially the Undecided Voters who may wish to make final decisions on their choice of preferred candidates to avail themselves the opportunity and tune in to the programme.
The parties lined up for participation include; (in no particular order) the Action Alliance, Accord, All Progressives Congress, Booth Party, Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party and Social Democratic Party.
A questions review panel has been set up while the panel of interviewers are in place to ensure a seamless and hitch-free debate is achieved.
All media houses in Rivers State are billed to cover the event while live TV and Radio coverages are already in place.
Members of the general public who may be willing to send in questions are free to do so to the mobile No: 0802 300 4210.
