N3.8 Million Failed Prayer Money: Prophet Allegedly Threaten To Kill Woman For Requesting Refunds In PHC Church

A woman Mrs Sorle Akari has cried out over alleged threat to her life by one Prophet Smile Eboh.

Mrs Akari in an interview with our reporter on Thursday disclosed that she was introduced to the Prophet Eboh by a friend she complained to about the series of miscarriage she was having in 2020.

Mrs Akari revealed that the Prophet who resides at Rumuigbo had told her to bring a total of three million, eight hundred thousand (3.8) naira that he will use the money to consult other ‘Men of God’ that will also pray for her.

The woman stated that she sold her valuables such as jewelry and borrowed money to raise the 3.8 million naira and gave to Prophet Eboh but she later discovered that everything done by Prophet Eboh was intended to defraud her.

She said when it became clear it was fraud, she went to Prophet Smile Eboh resident but found out that he has packed out.

According to the woman, Prophet Eboh resorted to threatening her life when she told him to refund the money he fraudulently collected from her under the guise of stopping the series of miscarriage.

Mrs Akari further alleged that the Prophet has vowed to deal with her if she continue requesting for the money.

Mrs Akari called on the Commissioner of Police and the public to come to her rescue.

Text message sent by our reporter to mobile number of Prophet Eboh was not returned.

Prophet Eboh did not also pick several calls put across to him.

As at press time We gathered that the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday has minutes a petition sent to his office by Mrs Sorle Akari to the Human Rights desk at Police headquarters, Moscow road for Investigation into the matter.
