Ned Nwoko Has Arrested My Family Members-Nollywood Actress Regina Daniels Cry For Help

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken to Instagram in a desperate plea, alleging that her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has had members of her family arrested in an apparent attempt to coerce her back into rehabilitation.

In an emotional Instagram story on Monday, the 24-year-old actress wrote: “Someone please, help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. I never thought I would do this, but my big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab. Don’t even get me started on telling the world what you did to me with your stupid rehab talk.”

Regina accused the senator of publicly smearing her with allegations of drug use — claims she says she has endured in silence until now. “You said I’m a drug addict, me wey just dey use am rob body, sir! What other name can you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak one day and tell the world of your involvement with everything! Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too!” she wrote.

She also laid bare the emotional toll the public turmoil has taken, describing the collapse of their marriage as humiliating and painful. “It is obvious it’s war! And a big shame that the beautiful but short legacy we built is about to be ridiculed by the whole world. Must things go completely south if partners are no longer interested? My sons and family are the biggest challenge of my life, but I will overcome and give them what they deserve. This is so freaking embarrassing! Hard girl like me crying.”

The post follows weeks after a widely circulated video, published on October 18, 2025, that showed Regina in visible distress and claiming she was enduring violence in the marriage. In the footage she is heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much,” while at least one man appears to be holding a stick — a clip that ignited public concern about possible domestic abuse.
Senator Nwoko responded on October 19 via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, denying any assault. In a statement titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” the lawmaker accused the actress of drug and alcohol abuse, alleging the behaviour led to violent incidents at his home. “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” Nwoko said.

The Delta North senator, who is known to have multiple wives, insisted none of his other spouses had accused him of violence. He alleged that Regina had become aggressive — “slapping and hitting staff members within 48 hours and vandalising vehicles and windows” — and said he had set conditions for her to accept rehabilitation, proposing treatment in Asokoro or abroad, “especially Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs.”

Nwoko further accused a nurse of exposing her alleged substance use and implicated Regina’s brother, identified as “Sammy,” as a supplier. The senator’s claims were swiftly rebutted by Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman — popularly known as Sammy West — who accused Nwoko of beating his sister. In a furious Instagram post Sammy wrote: “Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood. Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for the wall, you wan comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw.”

The explosive exchange has captivated social media and the entertainment world, drawing sharp reactions from fans and commentators. With allegations and counter-allegations escalating, public calls are growing for a clear, lawful investigation to protect Regina Daniels, her family and all parties involved — and for swift action to resolve the deeply troubling claims.
