Photos As Religious Leaders, Traditional Rulers Pray For Nnamdi Kanu In Court, As FG Begins Trial Of IPOB Leader

Nnamdi Kanu was ushered into the courtroom of the Federal High Court, Abuja by operatives of the Department of State Services at about 10:05 am on Monday as his trial resumes

Afterwards he met with religious and traditional rulers who prayed for him.

The matter has commenced.

Kanu has been in DSS detention since June 2021 when he was repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria.

Heavy security measures were observed today at the Federal High Court in Abuja as the Federal Government resumed the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Armed security operatives cordoned off all routes leading to the court premises, allowing access only to individuals whose names were on a list held by the Department of State Services (DSS).
