A man simply identified as Jeffrey said to be in his 30s has been arrested by the Amadi Police Division for allegedly defiling his landlady’s 13 year old daugther in an Estate close to a Federal Government college in Abuloma, Portharcourt local Government Area of Rivers State.
We learnt that the suspect who owns a tailoring shop at the estate lured the Landlady’s daugther to his shop one evening on pretence of showing her a clothe when he locked the place, overpowered and allegedly defiled the teenage girl.
The suspect was however arrested last week Friday,19th April,2024 when the teenage girl informed her mother. We also reliably gathered that medical examination conducted on the minor indicated she was defiled.
When contacted the Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the arrest of the suspect while adding that he has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department(SCIID, Portharcourt for discreet investigation,
