Port Harcourt Prophet Arrested After Wife Accused Him Of Bigamy, Infidelity, Confinement

SUCCESS, the wife of Prophet Umueke Miracle, leader of Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries, has accused her husband of bigamy, infidelity, and unlawful confinement.

She alleged that despite their legal marriage,

Prophet Miracle married another woman, paid her bride price, and now lives with a third woman. In an audio recording obtained by SaharaReporters, she claimed, “He married me legally and then married another woman and also brought another girl. He can sleep with anything in a skirt.”
Mrs. Miracle further alleged that her husband used the police to intimidate her and restrict her movements.
Earlier, SaharaReporters reported that Prophet Miracle had been arrested by police for detaining his wife for five days in a house in the GRA area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Confirming the development, Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, stated, “I have told them to take him to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The Deputy Commissioner will handle it there.”
Prophet Miracle was taken into custody after honouring a police invitation following a raid on his home led by DPO Abacha, which resulted in his wife’s release.

Allegations of Infidelity and Domestic Abuse

Mrs. Miracle accused her husband of evicting her from their home and coercing police into enforcing the move. She detailed how Prophet Miracle allegedly began an affair with a woman named Suzanna, who was previously married to a man named Ibrahim.
“Suzanna joined our church in 2019. Rumours about their affair spread, and eventually, her best friend, Amarachi, exposed them. He denied it, but I later discovered he had paid her bride price,” she said.
She alleged that Prophet Miracle stopped visiting their home regularly, only showing up on Sundays and Tuesdays after church services to count offerings.

Mrs. Miracle also claimed that a third woman now lives with him, while she has suffered years of emotional and financial neglect. “My soul and spirit have been tormented. I don’t know why I stayed in this marriage for so long ,” she lamented.
She further accused him of domestic violence, confiscating her SIM cards to restrict her communication, and seizing phones from household members to isolate her.

Financial Control and Alleged Fraud

Mrs. Miracle stated that her husband imposed strict financial restrictions on her, forbidding her from opening a bank account or having independent income, despite not providing for her needs.
“He made it clear I shouldn’t have my own money or a bank account, yet he never gave me money either,” she said.
She eventually opened an account with Access Bank and started a small business selling water and ministry supplies. However, Prophet Miracle allegedly discovered the account through his secretary and tricked bank staff into revealing her balance by falsely claiming he intended to deposit ₦500 million.
“He accused me of stealing his money and running a business under his ministry without permission,” she stated.

Alleged Illegal Confinement

On Tuesday night, Prophet Miracle allegedly forced his wife into his car and took her to a house in GRA, Port Harcourt, where she was detained for five days. He reportedly confiscated her phones to prevent her from contacting anyone.
Success has now regained her freedom, while her husband remains in police custody at the State CID. Investigations into the allegations are ongoing.
